UA Athlete and U.S. Sprinter, Natasha has been dominating 400m sprints since her college days at the University of South Carolina, where she won national titles in indoor and outdoor seasons in 2007. She’s been a staple on the US National 4×400 relay team ever since, helping the team win six international medals, including two Olympic Gold Medals in 2008 and 2016. Not only is she known for her talent, she has coined herself as the “400m Diva” to reflect her love for her sport, beauty, and fashion. In addition to being asked for fitness tips by her fans, she is paraded with requests to know the different color lipsticks she wears to her competitions.
Founded in 2015 by Track and Field Olympian Mechelle Lewis Freeman, TrackGirlz was born after she realized how underutilized and unrecognized phenomenal world class track and field women and girls were considered. A Maryland native, she has a background in marketing and advertising, earning her bachelor and master degrees in Communications from the University of South Carolina, and experience working with global brands and agencies. Mechelle saw an opportunity to create a brand to provide a consistent voice to help create and maintain relevance for track girls beyond the Olympic Games so she created a track and field aspirational brand offering athleisure apparel and fitness events, authentic lifestyle choices for track girls.
